The 17th edition of the Frankfurt Investment Arbitration Moot Court took place in Frankfurt from 10 to 13 June 2025.
The Moot Court was held at the offices of Noerr, Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer, Clifford Chance and Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IHK), Frankfurt am Main.
The Moot brought together 26 Teams from 17 jurisdictions, representing around 100 students, as well as around 65 coaches and arbitrators.
The following teams qualified for the elimination rounds:
- Singapore Management University (winner)
- National Law University, Jodhpur (finalist)
- BPP (semifinalist)
- Chicago (semifinalist)
- University of Vienna (round of 8)
- Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin (round of 8)
- National University of Singapore (round of 8)
- Tsinghua University (round of 8)
The final panel was comprised of Andrea Menaker (Partner at White & Case LLP), Nikolaus Pitkowitz (Founding Partner at Pitkowitz and Partners; President of the VIAC) and Eduardo Silva-Romero (Partner at Wordstone Dispute Resolution).
